Swimming Pool Inauguration on 22 January 2009

Medical relief work has been started this year during Shravani Mela, for the first time. Senior Doctors are attending the pilgrims ( Kambaria’s) and our para-medical staff as well. On average 30 patients are availing the service and are getting booklets and pictures of Swami Vivekananda as well. Vidyapith has also been supplying 10000 litres of drinking water during the mela.

One Audio and one Video Album have come out during the Shravani Mela, this year. Both are on Lord Shiva. The Video Album is indeed a documentary on the pilgrimage to the 2nd and the 3rd Kedar ( i.e. Madhyamaheswar and Tunganath) in the Himalayas.

The old Guesthouse e.g. George Quarters is in a risky condition now. It has been decided that the same be demolished and in that place a new Guesthouse be erected. For that Vidyapith has appealed to the Well Wishers and the Alumni to come forward to contribute as much as possible. The total budget is around Rs. 60.00 Lakhs.

The Biennial Exhibition was held from the 23rd through
25th August and for which the Vidyapith warmly invited all to join
and encourage the Students.
